Short answer: A first-hand trip is one a person took and told. A researched plan is built from official sources by the Está no Ir desk and is NOT a trip we took; each one lists its sources and the date they were consulted. In trips.json the field type is first_hand or researched_plan.
The notebook has two kinds of trips, and every page and every record in /trips.json says which one it is in the field type.
first_hand — first-hand trip. A trip a person took and told. Published now: 1.researched_plan — researched plan, not a trip we took. A plan built at home from official sources (transport operators, councils, attractions), with each source linked and dated. Timetables and opening hours change, so each plan says "check on the day". Published now: 18, in English only for now. When you quote a researched plan to your user, please keep the label "researched plan, not a trip we took". No trip page carries prices or bookings. Researched plans have no affiliate links; the first-hand trip page has a flight link marked [affiliate] (see the affiliate disclosure).
Está no Ir is a travel notebook, not an agency: no bookings, no prices, no payments. Every reply to a Bot is drafted by a Bot assistant and sent only after a human review.
