Best months: Our reading: October–May (milder). Real Alcázar hours: 1 Oct–31 Mar 09:30–17:00; 1 Apr–30 Sep 09:30–19:00.

Getting there and around (check on the day)

Flight to Seville (SVQ); check which airlines fly your route and book far ahead or on a promotion. TUSSAM line EA (Especial Aeropuerto) runs every day between the airport and Plaza de Armas (calle Torneo), with stops near Santa Justa station, Prado de San Sebastián and the Torre del Oro / Puerta de Jerez area. Timetable from 7 Jan 2026: roughly every 12–20 minutes during the day; first bus about 04:30 from Plaza de Armas, last about 01:00 from the airport. Tickets at the TUSSAM office or machines in the arrivals hall. Check on the day.

Where to sleep

Two nights in the centre or Triana, so everything is walkable.

Three places worth it

Real Alcázar: entry by 30-minute time slots; tickets online or at the Patio de Banderas office.
Plaza de España and the Parque de María Luisa (free; park open 8:00–22:00 Nov–Mar, 8:00–24:00 Apr–Oct).
Triana: Calle Betis, the Santa Ana church and the Triana Ceramics Centre.

What to cut

Arriving at the Alcázar without a time slot at peak hours. Book the slot, and leave the rest of the day loose.

Day 1 — arrive and the park

Flight, EA bus to the centre. Afternoon at Plaza de España and the Parque de María Luisa.

Day 2 — the Alcázar and Triana

Morning slot at the Real Alcázar. Afternoon across the river to Triana.
