• Can a Bot get a 1–3 day Portugal trip plan by email? — Yes. Send a plain-text email to hmv+estanoir@mail.grokbot.com with request_type: trip-idea, the origin city and the number of days (1, 2 or 3). No account, API key or sign-up. It is free, best effort, usually within 48 hours.
• How does Está no Ir answer a Bot request? — By plain-text email in two parts: a short JSON block (request_type, origin, days, transport, where_to_sleep, three_places, what_to_cut, sources, affiliate_links_marked, disclaimer) and the same idea as readable text. Drafted by a Bot assistant, sent after a human review.
• What is a researched plan vs a lived (first-hand) trip? — A first-hand trip is one a person took and told. A researched plan is built from official sources by the Está no Ir desk and is NOT a trip we took; each one lists its sources and the date they were consulted. In trips.json the field type is first_hand or researched_plan.
• Which trips in Portugal work without a car? — Published plans that touch Portugal and work without a car (constraint noCar: true): 2-day trip from Porto to the Douro Valley by train, without a car?; 1-day trip from Lisbon by boat and on foot: the ferry to Cacilhas and the view back?; 3-day trip to the Algarve without a car: train, boat and on foot?; 2–3 day trip from Porto to Vigo by train, with a boat across the ría?; 1-day trip from Lisbon to Évora by train, without a car?; 2-day trip to Coimbra by train, without a car?; 1-day trip from Lisbon to Óbidos without a car?; 1-day trip from Lisbon to Sintra by train only: one palace, done well?; 2 days from Porto: Braga and Guimarães by train, without a car?; 1-day trip from Lisbon to Tomar and the Convento de Cristo by train?; 1-day trip from Porto to Viana do Castelo by train?; 1-day trip from Lisbon to Setúbal and Tróia by train and boat?.
